These presets are created as a starting point, not a one-click wonder. Every image is photographed in different light, with different cameras, exposures and white-balance settings, so a little tweaking is part of the process.
After applying your preset, you may need to adjust the exposure, temperature and tint to suit your image. Always pay attention to your white balance, especially when working with skin tones. A tiny shift in warmth or tint can make a very big difference.
Grain is not included in AFTENLYS or DARKROOM, giving you full control over the final texture. Both presets work beautifully with grain added afterward if you want an even softer, more nostalgic and film-inspired finish.
