THE ART OF MATERNITY & FAMILY SHOOT
Step into a dusk to dawn experience… a two day workshop built around light, rhythm, and slowing all the way down.
We begin in the hills of Malibu as the sun starts to dip. That golden, glowy, slightly wild kind of light California does so well. We’ll gather picnic style… blankets, snacks, a little exhale after the day… and I’ll share everything I know about how I prepare for a session. How I see, how I plan, how I read light before I even pick up my camera.
Then we move into our sunset session with a family. Real connection, movement, letting things unfold instead of forcing them. You’ll shoot alongside me, step in when it feels right, and start finding your own rhythm inside it all.
After, there’s space to linger… an optional dinner if you feel like staying in that cozy little bubble a bit longer.
The next morning we meet again… early. Barefoot-on-the-beach kind of early. Sunrise with a mama to be, soft light, quiet air, and that feeling of the world not quite being awake yet. It’s a completely different energy… slower, more intimate, almost meditative.
We wrap it all up with breakfast together and an editing session where I walk you through my full Lightroom flow. How I take what we captured and shape it into the final images… the tones, the softness, the emotion.
This workshop is not just about techniques.
It’s about learning to trust your eye again.
To slow down enough to actually see.
To create from a place that feels calm, grounded, and honest.
You’ll leave with a full gallery for your portfolio, my black and white preset, and a small circle of creatives you’ve shared something real with.
From last light to first light…
honestly, it’s a little magic.

THE LOCATIONS
Kristine is so excited to invite you into two of LA’s most breathtaking locations… both quietly tucked away from the beaten path, chosen with so much intention for their sense of calm, privacy, and intimacy.
One set high in the golden hills of the LA mountains… where the light stretches endlessly and wraps everything in that warm, cinematic glow. Rolling landscapes, soft wind, earthy tones… it feels expansive and grounding all at once.
The other… down by the ocean. A quiet, hidden stretch of beach where the world feels like it pauses for a moment. Soft sand, salty air, gentle waves, and that delicate morning light that almost whispers.
These aren’t just “locations”… they’re experiences.
Spaces where light moves slowly, where distractions fall away, and where you can truly drop into the moment and create from something deeper.
Together they hold this beautiful contrast… earth and ocean, sunset and sunrise, movement and stillness.
I can’t wait to bring you into both of them…
to slow down, breathe it all in, and create something really honest and timeless together.

April 25th
Malibu Hills (Sunset Family)
_______
4:30 PM – Creative Talk & Session Prep
We begin slowly. Picnic style in the hills… blankets, snacks, something to sip on… and a grounded conversation about how to approach a session.
We’ll go into how I prepare, how I see light, how I build scenes, and how I create images that feel honest rather than forced. We’ll talk styling, connection, and all the small in-between things that truly shape a session.
This part matters just as much as shooting.
6:30 PM – Family Session
We move into our session about an hour before sunset and shoot through golden hour into that last soft glow.
This is where everything comes together… movement, connection, letting moments unfold. You’ll shoot alongside me, step in when it feels right, and start trusting your own eye more and more.
8:00 PM – Optional Dinner & Drinks
For those who want to stay a little longer… we’ll gather for a relaxed dinner. No pressure, just a cozy space to connect, reflect, and talk about everything from creativity to life.
April 26th
Beach (Sunrise Maternity)
________
6:00 AM – Maternity Session
We meet early… before the world fully wakes up. Soft ocean light, quiet air, slower energy. A mama to be and that kind of stillness that allows you to really see. We shoot from first light into early morning glow… a completely different rhythm from the night before.
7:30 AM – Light Breakfast Together
We wrap the shoot and settle in for a simple, cozy breakfast. A moment to land, share, and take it all in before we move into editing.
Editing & Q&A
I’ll walk you through my full Lightroom workflow… how I take what we captured and shape it into the final images. Color, tone, softness, storytelling… all the small details that make an image feel like something.
We’ll end with open space for questions… anything you’re navigating creatively or in your business.
This workshop isn’t just about learning how to shoot.
It’s about slowing down enough to actually see.
To trust your instincts.
To create from something more honest.
From sunset to sunrise…
it’s a little pocket of magic.
