The Streets Belong To Us
Im a huge fan of historical street photography. So when I came acros the photographer Shirley Baker, who documented from some of the poorest districts of Manchester, England, in the 60'ties, I had to take a pause. It shows something that no longer exist, but still so much do. Let me explain. These kids are all grown up today, the mothers are either great grandmothers themself or no longer with us. But its not that, its the feelings and the play that still a part of us... we are and will always be humans that are trying to fit in, live, love and breathe.. no matter what country, era or status we have in society. We are all children!
