These have just been announced to be the best engagement photos of 2016 by Junebug Weddings and I absolutely love them. I'm fascinated by he story, composition and the realnees in these photos. Beside them being super romanic they also bring up a little kid in me. I think an engagement is where you finally break from being someones child to someones grownup, partner and lover. That can be very scary, exciting and bring huge responsible. So for me engagement photo (done right)

My heart is breaking into pieces, my stomach turns upside down and my head can't process this. In november 2014, Rene Schulthoff, a first-aid photographer for Red Cross took a series of photos of children in refugee camps in Syria. It was not until he was editing the photographs Rene realised the girl - alone and barefoot among the metal huts - how scared she was of his camera.
